On the 13th of August 2019 Miguel Jenkins took part in a road running race in the mountain village of Güejar in the Sierra Nevada of Spain. The U13s race consisted of a 2km course through the steep winding streets of the village. Approximately 30 runners took part. Miguel was first at the finish line and was congratulated by the locals on his achievement. Although the race was very tough Miguel really enjoyed the experience and was pleasantly surprised to be given a fizzy drink and a piece of watermelon at the finish line !
