The long trip to SIAB (Schools International Athletics Board) took a 12 hour bus journey up to Scotland ! Three Menai athletes represented their country at this event. Gethin Griffith, Beca Bown and Ladies Team Captain Cara Scott. Wales had some fantastic performances. Gethin started us off running close to his pb, finishing 4th in a very competitive field in the 400metres. This was followed by Beca who ran a very solid 3000m finishing 5th in her race. The trio’s efforts were finished off by the Ladies Team Captain running in the 1500 steeple chase with a new pb and finishing 4th just outside the medals. Gethin finished the day of running with  a fantastic leg in the 4 x 400m, bringing Wales home a silver medal. Thankfully the journey home was a lot easier.
