Dual pride of place for Menai athletes went to Samia Jones U15G and Mike Spill U17M at Saturdays Welsh Inter Regional Cross Country Championships at Trefonnen School, Llandrindod Wells with them both coming home with Welsh titles. While Samia’s win was a gun to tape lead that she never gave up, Mike battled with Nathan Jones of Swansea for a long while before breaking away to take his win.
Ffion Madi Rees Jones U17W also earned a gold medal as part of the North Wales U17W team.
