The latest round of the British Athletics Cross Challenge was held at Dundonald in Belfast on Saturday 19^th January. The races incorporated the Celtic Cross Country Championships where three Menai athletes had been selected to represent Wales.

The stand out performance came in the U17 Women’s race where Samia Jones, who was running up an age group for the Welsh Team,  finished 2^nd in a time of 15 minutes and 9 seconds.

Also in the U17’s but this time the men, two Menai athletes were running for Wales and both put in excellent performances with Osian Perrin finishing 7^th in 20mins 20secs and Mike Spill 13^th in 20mins 50secs.

Math Thomas lined up in the U15 Boys race and finished a creditable 23^rd in 11mins 18secs.
