There was some fantastic racing last weekend at the euro trials in Liverpool. We only had a few athletes running in one of the toughest races in the racing calendar. Due to the conditions and top quality racers in the 17/20 age group, Miguel Jenkins(43rd in a field of 161) and Beca Brown (32nd in a field of 95). In the U/15 boys Osian Parry once again showed his talent finishing on the podium to an amazing 3rd place throughout the UK, competing at the top of a very high class field.
Cari Hughes, Oliver Barbaresi and Samia Jones, all of who started out with Menai Track & Field also ran. Congratulations to Cari to podium as 2nd Senior Woman. Oliver Barbaresi was 12th Senior Man and Samia Jones (U23), 55th in a field of 308 Senior Women.
They now have a very well earned rest this weekend. But for every body else don’t forget we have North Wales league race this Saturday in Aberystwyth. Pob Lwc.
