great evening of running at the annual Llandegfan 5k fun run. with up to 400 people taking part this year this event is gaining in popularity and helps to raise much needed money for three great local charities. a big thank you to the organizing committee and to the people of Llandegfan who turned out to support the runners.
Menai athletes had a strong showing at both junior and senior age groups.
Cai Morgan Roberts took the senior men’s title with an impressive run while Sam Gregson took the junior male title with an equally impressive run.
in the junior ladies race it was a dominant display with the top four all from the club, Abbi Parkinson took the title with Beca Bown in second, Georgia Parkinson in third closely followed by Cadi Glyn Edwards in a superb fourth place.
other Menai athletes who performed admirably were karl Sadil, Gabriel Luci, Erin Maloney and Rhiannon Holmes.
