On Saturday the 7th of January Menai Track & Field athletes competed at the North Wales Cross Country Championships at Wrexham.
The athletes that competed in a Menai vest did themselves and their club extremely proud :

Heidi (U11) was 14th in her race. Three U11 boys took part. Perry was 6th, Jacob 10th and Twm 15th. They also took team silver !
The U13 girls were fantastic, as always ! Esyllt silver and Tamsin bronze !
We had a great turnout from U15 boys who had a great performance. Miguel was first, Tomos 8th, Jake 11th and Gwion 19th. The boys won the silver team medal.
Our U17 girls also had great results. Beca was first, Tallulah 4th and Cadi 5th. And they got the gold team medal!
Rowan (U17) had a great race and was 3rd. Dion had an awesome day, U20 Mens winner (3rd overall in Senior race), followed by James (3rd) and Harri (6th). Steffan was 13th overall.

The day was a big success and all athletes made the club proud ! And it didn’t rain which was great as our gazebo had no top !!!
