Team Menai had a very successful day at the second round of the North Wales XC league in Newtown. The day started of with the U15 boys which had five athletes competing (Tomos, Tom, Miguel, Jake and Gwion). They managed to put on an exceptional performance with all finishing in the top 20.
The next race of the day was the U15 girls and U13 boys. Two boys, Alex and Daniel competed and had a really strong performance. The day continued with the U13 girls (Ela, Tamsin and Esyllt) and U11 boys (Perry and Morgan). It was a very enjoyable race in a hard strong competitive field.
The day was still not over yet as the U17 girls was in the afternoon with three athletes from Menai competing (Cadi, Beca and Cara) on a long three mile course. This was a very challenging course however the girls did not disappoint.
After a long journey to Newtown all Menai athletes at a great level. DA IAWN TIM MENAI 🙂
