Llongyfarchiadau/Congratulations to Huw and Miguel, who competed for Cymru/Wales in SIAB at the weekend.

Huw started with the 400m Hurdles, attaining a new PB of 56.59, cementing his dominance of the Number 1 spot in Wales, whilst putting him firmly into the top 10 rankings in the UK. From this race, Huw went straight to the high jump, competing well in pouring rain, getting close to his PB.

Miguel then competed in the 3000m and went on to smash his PB by a mighty 14 seconds – securing a time of 8:54.10, which still sees him commanding the top spot in Wales.

Both Huw and Miguel started with Menai Track and Field at age 9. A massive well done to you both, you have done yourselves, your families, Coaches and Club Proud. – at the same time aspiring others and showing what can be achieved with dedication and putting in the hard yards.

A big thanks also goes out to John Messum, who was once again was one of the Welsh Schools Team Managers at this event.
