Round 2 North Wales Junior Cross Country League, Wrexham Sat 10th Nov 2018
Menai athletes put in some fine performances at Wrexham in the second round of the Pyramid Consultancy North Wales Junior Cross Country League on Saturday with five making the podium positions.
With second place finishes were the under 15 pairing of Abbi Parkinson in the girls and Math Thomas the boys, while third place finishes went to Gethin Griffith U11B, Boe Celyn Jones U15G and Cameron Shaw U15B.
The next round of the league is at Treborth, Bangor on Saturday 1st December with races starting at 10.30am.

Round 2 North Wales Senior Cross Country League, Wrexham Sat 10th Nov 2018
After the hills of the previous fixture at Colwyn Bay, the athletes were greeted with a flat and fast course at Wrexham on Saturday for round 3 of the North Wales Senior Cross Country League.
Six Menai athletes lined up in the combined Ladies, U17 Men, Over 65 Mens race.
Osian Perrin lead the field home taking 1st U17M in a time of 19mins 30secs. With Aled Jones in 5th (20-41), Eden Potter 9th (21-36) and Cameron Lawrence 15th (23-30), the boys took the U17M team win on the day.
Sarah Livett came home 2nd in the ladies race in a time of 22mins 43secs to back up her second and fourth places at the previous fixtures at Shrewsbury and Colwyn Bay. Catrin Donnelly was next in for our ladies in 43rd overall (4th U20W) in a time of 26-59. The ladies were sixth team in division 2 on the day and are now sixth overall.
British Cross Challenge, Milton KeynesSat 10thNov 2018
Five Menai athletes made the long trip south to Milton Keynes for the second round of the British Athletics Cross Challenge and came away with some fine performances against the best athletes from across the UK.
In the U15 Girls Samia Jones came home in 4th position in a time of 14minutes 58seconds to back up her second place finish at the first round in Cardiff.
Tudur Harper Lloyd lined up in the U13 Boys and followed up his fifth place in Cardiff with a 14th in a time of 10mins 9secs.
The trio of Mike Spill, Cai La Trobe Roberts and Daniel Stones finished within 34 seconds of each other in the U17 Mens race with placings of 38th(19-04), 40th(19-08) and 50th(19-38).
