Marathon Eryri brought many Menai Juniors to race in age group races in Llanberis on Saturday. The U12 Category 1.25km Race saw Beca Haf Bown crossing in 2nd place , with Izzie Shaw in 4th and Cadi Glyn Edwards in 5th position. Cameron Shaw also ran in the U16 Category running 3.75km.

A lovely calm day in the Alexander stadium Birmingham today for the second leg of the Midlands winter race walk league , saw perfect conditions for Georgia Parkinson’s debut on a 3k walk in the iconic stadium , on a 3 lap course incorporating the track and hilly sections outside the stadium , Georgia led from the gun set a steady pace maintaining speed and technique with no faults flagged , crossing the line in 18m 55s a time that would have earned her automatic selection for the junior British champs in Bedford earlier this year.
