Following on from the previous weekends U15 and Seniors Indoor Championships.

Menai T&F again took a strong squad of athletes to the U13, U17 & U20 Championships held at the National Indoor Athletic centre in Cardiff and came away with 6 Golds, 5 Silvers and 3 Bronze medals. They were.

Tamsin Seguin Gold in the 800m and Gold in the 1500m U13G

Arian Williams Gold in the 400m and Silver in the 200m U20W

Ben Sergeant Gold in the 1500m and Silver in the 3000m U17M

Gwion Williams Gold in the Long Jump and Bronze in the 200m U13B

Tudur Harper Lloyd Gold in the 1500m U20M

Eli Jones Silver in the 60m and Bronze in the 200m U20W

Gethin Griffith Silver in the 400m U17M

Huw Williams Silver in the High Jump U17M

Non Redvers Jones Bronze in the 800m U20W

There were other excellent performances from our other athletes who were unlucky in just missing out on the medals but qualified for their finals.

Teleri Jones in the 200m & 60m, Miguel Jenkins in the 3000m, Tomos Morgan and Gwion Owen in the 1500m and 3000m, Ewan Jones 60m & 200m, Isabelle Thomas and Llinos Evans 60m & 200m, Chun Lau in the High Jump.

Well done and Congratulations to everyone including Patri for organising and Barry driving the mini bus. Thanks to the Parents for their support and Tracey for officiating at a national championship.
